Memories of my Childhood: Sunsets and the Kid in Me

DSC03627crimsonEDITEDI used to walk home from school and see this open landscape of rose and crimson skies with thin gold and silver linings from the parting sun. I was very young and those episodes of sunset always seemed to take my breath away. And now as a grown-up I came across the same view yesterday and it was more wonderful than ever. Breath-taking. I then realized this one thing: as we grow up we could forget sometimes. And GOD would eventually take us back to the moments when we were just plain “KIDS” – easily captivated by and constantly grateful for his WONDERS. I then realized that it was HIS sweetest way of saying, “I MISS THE KID IN YOU.”

Thank You Father God, for reminding me every day of your great love.
