Last couple of weeks I bought veggie meat burger from a local vegetarian resto and tried a classic veggie burger. Since I only used half of it, I wanted to do something else with what’s left other than a regular burger. And this came to mind –
I really didn’t know what to call it up until now – Veggie Doughnut.
That there is baked veggie meat coated with oats and sesame seeds. Basically, you’re just gonna shape the meat into small doughnuts and then pop it in the oven for about 12 minutes or so. After that, basic batter and breading and pop them again in the oven for 10 more minutes.
That’s it. Easy does it.
Tried my best to make it purely vegan but struggled to make the breading mix stick to the half-baked veggie meat so I resorted to eggs as batter. ? Maybe I’ll use something else next time.
Love to have your thoughts on this one!
